A 5-year-old boy fell into an open borewell in Savai Madhopur’s Malarna Dungar in Rajasthan and got stuck at 30 feet. Alert cops who received the news immediately informed the administration.
He was later rescued and shifted to hospital where he is undergoing treatment.
It is believed that the five-year-old Aman who was playing with friends at some distance from his house, slipped into the borewell. As soon as Aman slipped and fell into the borewell, other children started crying. Few women who were passing by saw the children and alerted villagers who then informed nearby police station.
The personnel of the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), State Disaster Response, Fire Services Department, the police and earth moving machines were all pressed into service.
